This is a thing that is real: Broken Heart Syndrome

“We started calling it ‘stress cardiomyopathy,’ which translates to stress-related ‘weak heart muscle.’ We nicknamed it ‘Broken Heart Syndrome’ because many of the cases had been triggered by the death of loved ones.”

A member of our staff stumbled upon this treat today. 

Me: “Why does a pizza dinner cost $10,010?”
Veronica: “It must be the fireworks show.”
