A little known winter fact: ski moguls, those tricky-to-navigate bumps on well-traveled runs, actually migrate slowly uphill.
David Bahr, an avid skier and professor of physics and computational sciences at Colorado’s Regis University, had suspected for some time that the moguls he slalomed moved up the mountain, so he tested the theory. Check out the full story here.

Debating the NBA’s One-and-Done rule, which requires players to be 19 and just one year out of high school before going pro.

New research shows kids who play football take hits to the head just as hard as any high school, college or NFL player.

Because they lack the protective neck and chest muscles of older players, young players are kind of like bobblehead dolls - the acceleration of each hit is greatly exaggerated.

Once again, women’s college basketball programs beat the men in graduation rates. A report found 92 percent of the women’s teams compared to 39 percent of men’s teams graduate at least 70 percent of their players. Twenty-two women’s teams have a 100 percent graduation rate in this year’s tournament, including the University of Connecticut.
