Obesity in America: By the Numbers 
68.8% of Americans are either overweight or obese. 
“This is quite literally an existential crisis. This is going to drive health care costs, going to drive life expectancy. [We’re] looking at the first generation of children that will likely be less healthy than their parents and grandparents, in many cases,” reports Ray Suarez.
