A new report finds that senior leaders, including Joe Paterno, at Penn State University disregarded the safety and welfare of victims abused by Jerry Sandusky.
Former FBI director Louis Freeh in a prepared statement about the findings:
“Our most saddening and sobering finding is the total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky’s child victims by the most senior leaders at Penn State. The most powerful men at Penn State failed to take any steps for 14 years to protect the children who Sandusky victimized.”
The Daily Frame: Local artist Michael Pilato paints over the image of former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky that was in his “Inspiration” mural in University Park, Pa. Sandusky was replaced with a chair and blue ribbon.
