What has happened to Ray Suarez and why are Gwen and Judy heading all the programs now?
In early September, Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff became PBS NewsHour’s official Co-Anchors and Managing Editors. Jeffrey Brown, Ray Suarez and Margaret Warner were named Chief Correspondents of NewsHour and Hari Sreenivasan became the anchor of PBS NewsHour Weekend (we now broadcast seven days a week).
Since that time, Ray Suarez has moved on to Al Jazeera America as the DC-based host of Al Jazeera America’s Inside Story.
